Job Posting: Communications Director
FAIR, the national media watch group, is currently seeking a full-time Communications Director.

Responsibilities include:

Write and pitch press releases for studies and articles
Represent FAIR in the media and at events, conferences and workshops
Help manage website and email activism list
Write and edit action alerts and other content for FAIR's website, magazine and radio show
Qualified applicants will have a background in the progressive, public interest community and excellent writing and communications skills. Applicants should have experience with basic web technology and public speaking.

The position is 40 hours/week, with a starting salary of $35,000 (+ child supplement) and full health/dental benefits. Deadline is December 1. No phone calls, please. People of color, women and LGBT applicants strongly encouraged.
