Canada World Youth provides unique educational
experiences for youth and is currently seeking:
Project Supervisors

Working in collaboration with a Southern project
supervisor and community members, you will manage
an exchange program that focuses on community and
international development. Contracts are approximately
10 months, with 6 to 7 months in a Canadian community
and 3 months overseas. Contracts begin April or May 2007.

Additional Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have:

- ability to manage and work with groups of diverse youth
- ability to manage crisis and resolve conflict
- experience in program administration and budget
management
- experience with group facilitation and non-formal
educational techniques
- commitment to learning about and working with
principles of anti-oppression
- understanding of issues impacting community and
international development
- skills to work effectively in cross-cultural contexts
in Canada and overseas
- relevant experience living and working in rural
communities in Canada and overseas
- ability to work independently and live away from
residence for duration of contract
- ability to manage public relations in a community context
- a fully valid driver's licence without any restrictions
